Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-07-04

Welcome to In The Know ("the Service"), a concert-alert service that notifies you when artists you follow announce new shows. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms of Service.

1. The Service

In The Know discovers newly announced concerts for the artists you track and delivers alerts over the channels you connect (Discord, email). Free accounts receive a weekly digest; Pro accounts receive same-day alerts. Availability is provided on a reasonable-effort basis and may change.

2. Accounts

You sign in with a verified third-party identity (Google, Discord, or Spotify). You are responsible for keeping access to those accounts secure. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction.

3. Subscriptions and billing

Pro is billed annually. Founding-cohort pricing is kept while your subscription stays active; standard pricing applies to later subscribers. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store card details.

4. Acceptable use

Do not abuse, overload, reverse-engineer, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, and do not use it to violate any law or third party's rights.

5. Third-party services

The Service integrates with third parties (Spotify, Discord, Google, Ticketmaster, SeatGeek, Stripe). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms; we are not responsible for them.

6. Disclaimer and liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the prior 12 months.

7. Changes and termination

We may update these Terms or discontinue the Service. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.

8. Contact

Questions about these Terms can be sent to the operator of the Service.
