Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-07-04

This Privacy Policy explains what In The Know ("the Service") collects, why, and your choices. We collect only what we need to deliver concert alerts.

1. Data we collect

2. How we use it

To detect newly announced concerts for your tracked artists and deliver alerts, to operate billing for Pro, and to keep the Service secure and reliable. We do not sell your personal data.

3. Third-party processors

We share the minimum necessary with processors that run the Service: Stripe (payments), Google/Discord/Spotify (sign-in and library), Ticketmaster and SeatGeek (event data), and email delivery. Each processes data under its own policy.

4. Retention

We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account we remove your personal data, except where retention is required by law.

5. Your rights

You can access, correct, export, or delete your data, and disconnect any linked third-party account, at any time. Deleting your account removes your tracked artists, tokens, and delivery settings.

6. Security

Access tokens are stored encrypted where configured, transport is over HTTPS, and access is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.

7. Changes

We may update this Policy; material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.

8. Contact

Privacy questions can be sent to the operator of the Service.
